Don’t you hope that Obama passes health care before his state of the union address?
I really hope that the dems get this health care bill passed before Obama’s state of the union address.Wouldn’t that be quite an accomplishment for a President to achieve? We will finally all be insured!

I think alot of people that want this health care bill are going to be shocked when they find out it’s not all what they said it would be. See thats the whole thing, everyone see and hear the word FREE and dont wanna read the fine print. Dont get me wronge, we need some kind of reform, but not this.
When Canadians, and Europeans are telling use“BIG MISTAKE” That should tell you something. Plus if you understand GOV talk, i would tell you to go read the bill before you get to excited, cause i think alot of people are going to be shocked if it’s passes.

Sounds like passing the bill that fast is reckless and irresponsible. How about we try to pass something with merit rather than just passing something just so that our President can talk about it at his state of the union address.

And the Dem party would be dead.
Make my day.

Since you want his health care so much and I don’t you can pay my share since you are so insistent that it go through.

We need health care reform! Lets urge congress to get this passed! Stop the lies of the right-wing talking heads and do the right thing!
March 9th, 2010 at 10:01 am
Yes it would be great if the bill would pass! I think we need to call our representatives (republican & democrat) and tell them to vote for it. Republicans would love to stop health care reform – which would hurt all of us if they succeed, so we need to step up and put pressure on them to pass it!

Not as written, no.
They will fine you if you don’t have insurance. Kind of like being in debtors prison.
Have you even read any portions of this 2,000 plus pages bill?
And the Amish are exempt from having insurance.
There are problems with health insurance that need to be addressed but the rush job just does not cut it.
You do realize the insurance is not free, correct? If you have to pay in the future, you can find some now and we can all still be covered.

No

No~but Susan~ your heart is in the right place
in reality this bill will not get past this current congress
but there will be much debate
and more will be said then done
and in the end they will water it down so even Obama will sign this just to say
he signed something called *Health Care* but it won’t be done until a long time
from now
Good luck with your wishing

Sorry but I for one hope that it dies in committees!
This is not health care reform but governmental take over.

With the Brown election, the only way the existing Health Care Plan (or anything like it) will pass Congress, is if either it is jammed through BEFORE Brown takes office, or if that horrendous 4 to 1 gouging on health care costs is no longer locked in with Americans required to pay it in advance. However, America desperately needs both immunity from denial because of pre-existing conditions, AND the limitation short of bankruptcy from huge medical disaster expenses, both part of the proposed Law. So reform is an eventuality, now that we are this close, and people know they can demand these basic protections. What is at stake is whether the DNC will water down the important parts of the bill to get passage of “just anything at all”, to claim a victory.
